Shadowglossy Riding Hat – Metallic Blue

Introducing the latest riding hat innovation from Samshield – the Shadowglossy in Metallic Blue with a high gloss finish to make you stand out.

The outer shell of this riding hat is made from polycarbonate, a material used for motorcycle helmets, amongst other things.

The inner shell is made from polystyrene with variable density, providing a better dissipation of the energy produced on impact.

The shaped memory foam liner provides consistent thickness throughout years of use, and can easily be removed for washing to keep your head feeling fresh.

The semi-rigid harness removes the risk of the helmet tipping if violent movement occurs.

The front air inlet provides excellent ventilation. Fresh air is channeled from the front entrance to the back extractors, generating strong internal airflow.

All Samshield hats purchased from us conform to the VG1 and ASTM standard, which are accepted by British Showjumping, British Dressage and British Eventing under the new rules.

Available in Metallic Blue in shell sizes Small, Medium and Large – with removable liners in sizes 52cm to 61cm.
